Hi, I'm Jalyssa.
I'm the founder of Journal & Clarity, a bookkeeping and administrative support business built on a simple belief: every business owner deserves to understand their numbers and feel confident in the systems supporting their business.
As a small business owner and mom, I know firsthand how quickly the responsibilities can pile up. Between serving customers, managing operations, keeping up with finances, and balancing family life, bookkeeping often becomes just one more thing on an already overwhelming to-do list.
I've been there myself.
Through running my own businesses, pursuing my education in business and accounting, and earning certifications in both QuickBooks and FreshBooks, I discovered that most business owners don't need more complicated processes—they need organized systems, accurate records, and someone they can trust to help make sense of it all.
